The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS)/Nineveh branch organized courses to teach the art of sewing and embroidery for widows and divorced women in Nineveh. As the staff of the branch carried out this course under the supervision of Disasters Management (DM) employees in the branch which lasted 7 days with the participation of 18 trainees.
At the end of the session, gifts were distributed to the trainees during a ceremony included opening of an exhibition to show the trainees products, noting that the gifts included sewing machines with its equipment for trainees who had the first rank in the work as well as to distribute electric heaters for the rest of the participants.
