The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has distributed more than 500 food parcels for the families who have returned to their home areas in the districts of the Old Mosul city.
” The IRCS`s teams have conducted a field assessment and registered more than 1500 families who have returned to the areas of ( Ra`as AlJada, Alkharab, Kataeb Alban, Alkhazraj, Badan, Prophet Shit and Al-Dawasah) in the right side of Mosul”, said Mr. Haider Qassim the official of the relief teams in Nineveh governorate.
Qassim has added that the IRCS`s relief teams have distributed more than 500 food parcels for the families who have returned to their areas in the districts of the city of the Old Mosul, the relief teams are continuing to distribute food parcels for all the families that have been surveyed and covered by the humanitarian assistance.
Qassim has clarified that the relief teams have distributed every day more than (400) thousand liters of potable water through (25) tankers were allocated by the IRCS to transfer water from Al-Ghazlani water station to the districts of the right side of Mosul after they have installed 85 water tankers there.
