The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has finished its preparations to provide medical and first aid services for the visitors on the occasion of Imam Kadhim visit ( peace be upon him).
“The IRCS has completed all its preparations to provide services to the visitors after installing more than 150 tents as a rest station equipped with first aid, medical treatments, and mineral water,” said Mr. Ahmed Kadhim the director of operations affairs in the IRCS.
Kadhim has added that the above-mentioned rest stations were deployed at the entrances and exits of the city of Baghdad to the holy city of Kadhimiya, adding to deploy 20 permanent medical detachment and 22 mobile detachments equipped with stretchers which provides first aid for the visitors inside and outside the city.
Kadhim has clarified that the number of volunteers who have participated in the work of the IRCS has reached more than 450 volunteers and staff trained on relief and first aid. A number of ambulances were also deployed close to the rest stations to transfer emergency cases to the nearest hospital.
