Since the beginning of the security operations northern of Salahulddin areas in 26/6 so far, there are approximately (3454) families has displaced from the city of Shirqat and Beji toward granaries area where our relief teams stationed there who are providing water, food and medical treatments for the families, as the Red Crescents’ teams distributed about (3000) fast food meal and more than 16 thousand bottled water and 1,300 food baskets, as well as distributed more than (14) loaf adding to other relief items such as blankets, ice mold, baked and vegetables.
Then, the displaced people have been transferred from granaries camp to Tikret and some areas and villages, as most of the families have been sheltered by their relatives or their relatives in nearby villages.
It is expected that the numbers of displaced people increase in the coming days due to the current security situation so the Iraqi Red Crescents configure its resources and mobilized its teams so that to provide assistance for displaced families.
