The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has announced its receiving for more than (7500) displaced person from different areas and villages of Nineveh governorate consist of (1511) family, they have been sheltered in Zulykan, Al-Khazer and Jada`a camps since the beginning of the events till now .
The IRCS has said ” The IRCS teams have recorded the entrance of (7500) displaced person distributed between Al-Khazer camp located north of Mosul which shelters (2435) displaced person adding to Zulykan camp located at Al-Shekhan district in Dohuk governorate which shelters (1600) displaced person, and Jada`a camp at Al-Qayarah which also shelters (3500) displaced people .
The statement has noted ” The IRCS teams deployed in the camps have mobilized their efforts to shelter the displaced people and contain the displacement crisis in addition to provide fast meals, water to the displaced families adding to distribute relief assistance to them .
Whereas the IRCS health teams have provided health services, first aid, treatments and transporting some cases to the hospitals, adding to organize psychosocial support lectures to the displaced families and children, and the number of beneficiaries has reached more than (3000) person from various age categories in the displacement camps .
It is mentioned that, the IRCS teams is still continuous to receive the displaced families by our relief teams deployed in the displacement areas .
