The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has announced its provision of relief and food assistance to more than (4000) displaced person at Jada`a camp in the city of Qayarah .
The Head of the relief team at the center of Salahuldin Haider Qassem said ‘’Our relief teams in Salahuldin with the support of Thiqar and Wasit branches headed on yesterday Sunday to Al-Jada`a camp in the city of Qayarah which shelters more than (4000) thousand displaced person consist of (800) family.
Whereas the IRCS teams have relieved all the displaced families through distributing relief and food materials which covers (800) food parcels, (800) health set, (800) gallon, (800) stove, (800) rise bag weighed 35 kg adding to (4800) blankets ‘’ .
Qassem added ‘’ The psychosocial and health support teams have provided health services, treatments and psychosocial support lectures to the displaced families in order to alleviate the suffering of displacement ‘’ .
It is mentioned that, the IRCS teams have deployed in three phases, first one in Erbil, second one in Salahuldin and the last phase in Duhok .
The IRCS teams is still continuous to provide relief services for the displaced families in different phases of displacement .
