The Iraqi RC presents a medical services and first aid for more than (3 million Iraqi and foreign visitors). As the Assistant Secretary General in the Iraqi Red Crescent Society Mr. Mohammed Alkhozai said that ” Iraqi RC has made a prior plan to provide services for the millions of crowds whom going to the holy city of Karbala, through the coordination with IRCS’s branches   in (Karbala, Najaf, Babil, Muthanna, Basra, Maysan, Dhi Qar, Wasit, Diwaniya and Diyala)”.
Al-Khuzai also said “the teams of  Iraqi RC has deployed at the entrances and exits of the holy city of Karbala in which more than 200 fixed and mobile medical detachments installed in order to provide health services for the visitors.
In addition to what has been mentioned above, the Iraqi RC provides an ambulances to transport emergency cases. while other teams of IRCS has transfer a large numbers of visitors by IRCS’s vehicles from Al-Musayyib area to the holy city of Karbala.
