IRCS distributes more than a thousand hot meal daily to the displaced families in Samarra
The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) distribute more than 1,000 hot meals, daily, to the displaced families from Tikret to Samarra.
The Assistant Secretary General for IRCS Mr.Mohammed Al-Khuzai said that “IRCS teams, who deployed in Samarra, received more than 500 families displaced from areas of Tikret to Samarra and has installed more than 60 tents which equipped logistically to accommodate families, as well as to provide them with food and relief assistance”.
Al-Khuzai added that “IRCS teams are still continuing to distribute food and relief assistance to those families so far. While it is expected that the number of displaced families gets rise because of the humanitarian situation in the Tikret and the surrounding villages there.
