The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) relief more than (7900) families from those who recently displaced from different parts of Salahuddin, Nineveh and Anbar.
The Assistant Secretary General for the Iraqi RC Mr. Mohammed Alkhozai said that “Salahuddin and Anbar governorates witnesses a new displacement wave in a number of areas where armed clashes occured, the matter that forced number of families to leave their homes and fled to other areas, As the township of Mutasam,Yathrib, Dhulu’ya and outskirts of Kirkuk has seen displacement of approximately (4000) family”.
The Iraqi RC installs a camp includes (1000) families and distributes food assistance and aid relief to these families. In Anbar governorate, more than (2000) family forces to flee from Het, Al-wafa’a township to Nikhaeb, Amireat Al-Fallujah and Habaniyah.
The Iraqi RC establishes a camp in Nikhaeb city and distributed aid and food assistance to all these families that live in very difficult humanitarian conditions, while in the Sinjar there is more than 1200 families still living in the mountain after the siege of city since the entry of ISIS to it, in which a teams from Iraqi RC was able to implement a relief campaign in the region that included food and relief distribution to all of these families.
On the other hand, the Iraqi RC distributes food aid and relief to more than (700) families whom returned to their homes in the villages (Brojely, Karanazah and Jrdeghuly) of Tuz Khurmatu after the end of the fighting in these villages.
