The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has rehabilitated several hospitals and health centers in cooperation with Swedish Red Cross and funded by the IFRC to receive Coronavirus patients in the governorates of Kirkuk, Basra, and Wasit.
‘’ The teams of the IRCS has rehabilitated 10 health centers and two hospitals in the above-mentioned governorates, in Kirkuk, the teams have rehabilitated Al-Basar hospital, Al-Shifa’a hospital, Sinjar, and Al-Oruba health centers, in Wasit, rehabilitating the health centers of Abdul Zahra, Abdullah Bin Rawaha and Albo Mohammed, while in Basra, rehabilitating Al-Huta and Al-Abbas health centers’’, said Mr.Nawar Abdul Kader the director of structure and rehabilitation division in the IRCS.
Mr. Nawar has added that the rehabilitation operations include rebuilding and repairing bathrooms, sinks, replacing the damaged water pipes with new ones, repairing the heavy water sewage, adding to install water coolers and water laboratory testing systems.
