The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has announced the increasing in the numbers of displaced people to more than 60,000 people since the start of the right side operations of Mosul city .
The IRCS has reported in a statement “ The IRCS teams have registered the displacement of more than 60,000 since the beginning of the right side operations till now’’ .
The statement has added that more than ten thousand people have been displaced from different areas of the right side of Mosul, they have been transferred to Hasan Al-Sham and Khazer camps, because the camps of Qayarah and south of Mosul are not enough to shelter all of the displaced people .
The statement has indicated “The IRCS teams at Hasan Al-Sham and Khazer camps have distributed ready food meals and more than 500 food parcel enough for nine members for one month . Where the IRCS`s health teams have provided first aid and psychosocial support for the displaced families’’ .
It is worthy to be mentioned that the numbers of displaced people are still escalating and the IRCS teams are continuous to receive the displaced families, adding to provide health, relief and food support for them .
