The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has conducted field survey operations in order to contain the lack of potable water crises in a number of governorates.
The IRCS has reported ” The volunteers of the IRCS through the IRCS`s forum of communication and community development have formed assessment teams who are deployed in a number of governorates in order to conduct a field survey for the areas which is suffering from the lack of potable water in the villages and the remote areas which are far from the center of the governorates and to install RO water stations and drilling artesian wells in it”.
The IRCS`s report has added that the assessment has covered the governorates of ( Diwaniya, Maysan, Diyala, Babylon, Kerbala, Wasit, Salahuddin, Anbar, Thi Qar, Najaf, and Nineveh) in order to conduct a detection and field survey on the villages that suffer from the lack of potable water in the districts of the governorates and to install water desalination stations or to find alternative solutions such as, installing water tanks in order to face the crises of lack of potable water in the areas of the outskirts of the governorates centers.
