IRCS announced that a group of armed kidnapping of 40 Indian workers who were working in Mosul.
The Assistant Secretary General of the Iraqi Red Crescent Society, Mohammad Alkhozai said “A group of armed men abducted 40 Indian workers who were working in Mosul and took them to an unknown destination. On the other hand IRCS teams enable to intered assistance convoy carrying food and fuel (cooking gas) to the towns of Sinjar and Amerli despite the difficult security and humanitarian situation in the two regions where the IRCS teams distributes more than 3,000 food Parcel and relief as well as the distribution of bottles of cooking gas for more 3,000 displaced families in those areas.
Alkhozai pointed out that number of people displaced from the city of Tal Afar, reached more than 4,000 fled to Sinjar, and the southern provinces (Najaf, Wasit, Diwaniyah and Maysan). The Iraqi Red Crescent Record displaced more than 450 000 people from the start of the Mosul crisis so far.
