The fact that it does not pollute the environment or create additional hazardous emissions to enter the atmosphere as a result of other sources of pollution, and it is of important benefits of using the sun as one of the most significant sources of energy. In addition to eliminating the significant emissions left behind by diesel generators, it is a green energy source. In (5) water desalination plants that have been installed in areas with a shortage of drinking water, the Iraqi Red Crescent Society has swapped out those generators with solar energy-generating panels. With a productivity of up to (5) cubic meters per hour, these stations run for (6) hours each day. Experts estimate that the overall environmental emissions from generators could exceed (76) tons per year.
Another (15) desalination plants will be converted to diesel generators this year, in addition to the development of 4 new solar-powered stations.
