The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has delivered, through joint coordination, the delivery of the second shipment on January 14, 2026, totalling nearly 13 tons of food aid donated by the Iraqi government from the Ministry of Trade's warehouses transported by an Iraqi Air Force aircraft to El Arish Airport in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The IRCS handed over the above – mentioned aid to the Egyptian Red Crescent, were they will facilitate its entry into the Gaza Strip for distribution to the Palestinian people there.

This follows the first shipment, sent on January 12, 2026, which amounted to 12 tons. These shipments will continue until all the aid, totalling 75 tons, has been delivered.
