The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) in cooperation with the Department of Labor and Vocational Training in Diyala governorate, organized a specialized training workshop in the field of home electrical installations. The workshop targeted young people as part of ongoing efforts to empower them professionally and equip them with the technical skills needed to enter the labor market.
Where the participants have received both practical and theoretical training on the fundamentals of electrical installations. The workshop covered various topics, including occupational safety rules, installation of household electrical networks, identification of tools and equipment, as well as hands-on practical exercises.
The aim of the above – mentioned workshop was to enhance the technical skills of young people and open up new opportunities for them to engage in skilled trades. This contributes to improving their economic conditions and meeting the local market’s demand for qualified technical personnel.
The Director of Diyala branch of the IRCS, the engineer Osama Abbas, stated:
“The Red Crescent continues to offer specialized training programs that align with community needs and support the youth sector.”

At the conclusion of the workshop, the participation certificates were distributed to the trainees in recognition of their commitment and active engagement, the attendees praised the organization and the quality of the training content.
