Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has allocated a cash aid to Al-Muqdadiya victims.

The IRCS has stated in a statement that “the IRCS gave a financial assistance of one million dinars to each martyr’s family and 500,000 dinars to each wounded person.”

The statement has added that the funds will be paid to the relatives of martyrs and injured, in accordance with the lists of names obtained from the Diyala Health Department,”.

Al-Muqdadiya awoke to a terrible massacre, as armed gangs attacked the village of al-Hawasha in Muqdadiya, Diyala Governorate, killing a number of civilians, including women, several hours after the atrocity in al-Rashad town, these armed groups launched an attack on Nahr al-Imam village, killing several civilians and torching several houses.
According to the Diyala Health Department’s figures, 23 people
were martyred and seven were wounded.
