The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) distributed urgent relief assistance for the displaced families to Samarra districts-Salahuldin governorate. As a cadre from IRCS distributed more than (300) relief assistance and (368) blanket for the displaced families from areas of (Dejla township, Makeshfa, Al-Hawey, Tal Al-Aleej, Al-Dour district, Al-Alam district and Yathreeb township) to Samarra at the south of Salahuldin governorate.
Teams from IRCS registered displacement of (184) family from Tikret to Samarra as a result of continuing the violence there in which the displaced families lives in the school and buildings structures in many different areas of the governorate. Also the IRCS teams implemented several field missions in order to provide displaced families with relief and shelter adding to all necessary supplies within areas that witness varying displacement waves, noting that most of the displaced families settled in the areas of (Al-Jamea’a district, second and third Ajparia district, Armoshia district, Al-Afrad district, Al-Muthanna district, Al-qatoul, Al-Secak, Al-Shorta, Al-Shuhada district, Al-Qadisiyah, Salahuddin, first and second area of Al-Mamall and Al-Mutassam district).
It is worthy to be mentioned that the displacement of families is a continuous process in order to search for a safer places in Samarra, while IRCS teams continue to present help to those families.
