The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) received more than 90 displaced families from Tikret to the city of Samarra, due to the events in the region.
The Assistant Secretary General for IRCS Mr.Mohammed Al-Khuzai said that “IRCS teams received those families, and distributed them in the areas of (Al-Jamea’a district, Al-Ma’amel district, Al-Makeshfa area and Tal Al-Aleej), while the situation of displaced families is extremely difficult, the matter which required an urgent intervention by IRCS relief teams who have installed 10 camps to house the displaced families, and to distribute food and relief assistance to them”.
On the other hand, IRCS teams continuous distributing relief and aid assistance to the displaced, especially the city of Tikret that witness a waves of displacement as a result of the difficult humanitarian situation.
