The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) continues its relief operations to support the displaced families from Anbar governorate to Ameriyah Al-Fallujah who are living in extremely difficult humanitarian conditions.
The Assistant Secretary General for IRCS Mohammed Al-Khuzai Said that “The aggravation of the humanitarian situation in Anbar led to increase the suffering of displaced people and also increased their humanitarian needs, as they need shelter, food and health services”. Al-Khuzai added that “IRCS teams in Babylon has dispatched relief materials and drinking water that can be enough to (3000) displaced people. Meanwhile IRCS is doing its best to reduce the impact and the risks which the displaced had. IRCS also responds rapidly to cover the needs of the displaced people”.
Iraqi Red Crescent Society Is an independent national humanitarian, society whose works to reduce the suffering of people without discrimination, in the time of peace and war, and during the natural and non- natural disasters. IRCS is one of the most effective societies within the International movement of the Red Crescent and Red Cross.
