The Iraqi Red Crescent: increasing the number of displaced people in Depka camp at Erbil to more than 8000 people

Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) / Erbil branch, has announced increasing the number of displaced who flee from Nineveh Plain to Depka camp at Erbil to more than 8000 displaced people  during the last two days.
The manager of Erbil branch Howrey Ehssan said “ IRCS’s volunteers had received more than 8,000 displaced people flee from Nineveh Plain specifically the areas near Qayarah and Sultan Abed, who were sheltered by the Red Crescent teams in Depka camp at Makhmoor district”. He also added that the Crescent’s teams distributed daily hot meals and relief food parcels for displaced.
However, the Red Crescent’s teams continue distributing humanitarian services to displaced families despite the limited possibilities of IRCS and the lack of resources.
