Since the beginning of Mosul operations, Hamam Al-Alil city which is considered the main gate of Mosul governorate was a scene of armed confrontations, the city consist of about (3) thousand families, and these families have lived in the middle of humanitarian needs caused by the security conditions in Hamam Al-Alil town, during the first hours of the end of battles in it, the IRCS relief teams have managed to enter the city and provide the food assistance to the families in it .
Haider Qassim the head of the relief teams at Salahuldin center said ‘’We have managed to enter the city after the end of battles in its Surroundings in a very short time, also we have managed to enter a convoy  assistance loaded with food materials have distributed to the citizens’’ .
Qassim added that’’ The humanitarian condition in the city required speed up in the relief operation because the city lived in a difficult situation, where the citizens there lived in tough conditions, like roads outage and the lack of food and so on’’, when the relief teams arrived in the city more than (1600) food parcels adding to more than (1000) ready meal have distributed to the citizens .
Whereas the first aid and psychosocial support teams have began their work right away, Abu Abdullah one of the citizens said’’ We were desperately need this assistance and the arrival of the relief teams in time had formed a reassuring factor for us, also provided for us food needs which we were need it in the previous period ‘’ .
