With the participation of more than 1,000 volunteers, the Iraqi Red Crescent reveals its plan to provide medical and emergency services for the pilgrims on the commemoration occasion of Imam Al-Kazim’s (peace be upon him) visitation.

The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has accomplished its preparations to provide medical services and first aid for the pilgrims on the occasion of the commemoration of Imam Al-Kazim’s (peace be upon him) visitation.
The IRCS has reported that it has completed all preparations to provide services to the pilgrims, which include emergency and medical services, also the health awareness, in addition to transport the injured using the IRCS ambulances.
The IRCS has set up 15 fixed medical detachments and deployed a number of mobile teams equipped with first aid gear, distributed at the entrances and exits of Kadhimiyah city.
More than 1,000 volunteers and members of the IRCS who are trained in first aid, will participate in the above-mentioned event, they will be supported by 11 branches from the governorates (Babil, Karbala, Najaf, Al-Muthanna, Diwaniyah, Wasit, Maysan, Basra, Dhi Qar, Anbar, Baghdad) to provide services to the pilgrims, as this occasion witnesses millions of visitors every year.
The IRCS will also deploy a number of ambulances and mobile medical clinics which distributed at the entrances and exits of Kadhimiyah in order to transport the urgent cases to the nearest hospital.
