Marwan Kadhim Al-Kaabi, who involved in volunteer work with the Iraqi Red Crescent Society since 2012 and was one of the most prominent active volunteers who are contributing to the most important activities in the Iraqi Red Crescent..
Marwan felt so sad after his right leg was amputated.
He says “I am carrying with me my humanity, my passion and my belief concerning the basic principles which I learned from the Red Crescent”.
He added, “I am now participating in various events and activities, including psychosocial support lectures, especially that which provided for people with special needs, as well as health awareness activities and permanent lectures for all the principles of the Red Crescent”
He also added that crutches did not constitute an obstacle against my work, but rather a great motivator
Marwan does from the principle of volunteering action, which considered as one of the most important basic principles of the Red Crescent, it is a culture, awareness, humanitarian service and providing assistance to people without any or profit
