The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has organized scout camps for the youth and volunteers under the theme of ( youth as leaders ) in Baghdad and other governorates with the participation of more than 3000 volunteers.
Where the teams of the IRCS have organized scout camps for the youth and volunteers which included a number of events, youth activities, awareness courses for human development, implementing health awareness workshops and programs of first aid and psychosocial support, the number of beneficiaries have reached 3500 volunteers from all the IRCS`s branches.
The aim of these activities and awareness programs was to develop the skills of volunteers, raise awareness and education in all fields, develop their abilities, attract youth to voluntary service, spread the culture of volunteerism and reject negative social phenomena to build a healthy society.
