The Iraqi Red Crescent Society(IRCS) has organized the festival of ( Peace and Youth) in collaboration with Nineveh Youth and sports directorate at Hadbae forum, as a part of  its educational and awareness programs which aims to develop the abilities of youth in order to build a conscious generation culturally  and humanely and cultivate the culture of peaceful coexistence  and teamwork, adding to attract the volunteers to participate in the volunteer work which is considered as a basic principle of the IRCS.
The main purpose of the peace and youth festival is to spread the idea of peaceful coexistence, love and to work as a team among the members of the community especially the youth, also the main message that the IRCS has provided is to cultivate positive ideas and reject the negative one, and focusing on the process of spreading the cultural awareness for the youth and volunteer work through providing humanitarian services  for the displaced families, the festival included an exhibition for the humanitarian services which the IRCS provided to the most vulnerable people in community especially the displaced, and an exhibition of the photographic pictures which materialize the IRCS`s activities in the relief operations,adding to provide a theatre show for the youth volunteer and documentary movies about the activities of the IRCS`s teams who are deployed at the camps of the displaced people .
