The teams of the Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) have provided health services and first aid for more than 15,000 visitors during the Ashura ceremony in the holy city of Karbala.
The IRCS has said in a statement, “The IRCS’s teams in Karbala have evacuated the wounded and injured people as a result of the momentum of visitors in the presence of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him),also more than 40 volunteers took part in the evacuation of the wounded and they have transferred  them to hospitals”.
The IRCS’s teams have  provided various health services, such as dressing wounds, burns, bleeding, transport, health awareness and massage, and the number of beneficiaries from these services  has reached 15030 visitors.
