The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has distributed more than 27,000 water bottle in a capacity of 1 liter and a half to a number of areas in Basrah governorate, such as Al-Shat, Tanomah, and Al-Wailes areas, in order to meet the shortage of drinking water in the governorate, at the same time, the IRCS`s teams have continued to install desalination and water purification units in the areas of Shatt al-Arab, Abu al-Khasib, Khor al-Zubayr and Safwan.
