The President of the Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) Dr.Yaseen Al-Mamouri has supervised in the field on the relief operations for the displaced families at Hasan Al-Sham and Khazir camps east of mosul governorate .
During the visit of Dr.Yaseen Al-Mamouri to Hasan Al-Sham camp and his field supervision on the distribution of relief and health assistance for the displaced, the IRCS relief teams have received 1900 displaced people from different areas and villages of Nineveh governorate, they have been sheltered at the above mentioned camp, where the relief teams have distributed more than 3000 ready food meal and 1180 food parcel, adding to distribute relief assistance including, blankets, clothes, stoves and other relief materials .
The IRCS`s Health teams have provided health services, first aids and treatments to more than 4000 people, in addition to organize psychosocial support lectures to the displaced families and to various age categories at Hasan Al-Sham and Khazir camps .
Dr. Yaseen Al-Mamouri has praised the humanitarian role of the relief teams and their great efforts in order to meet the needs of the displaced people and provided to them .
It is worthy to be mentioned that the number of the displaced has reached so far to 42834 displaced at Hasan Al-Sham and Khazir camps, they were divided to 24934 displaced at Khazir camp and 17900 at Hasan Al-Sham camp .
