The Iraqi Red Crescents’ teams conducted field visits to the displaced families in order to provide psychosocial support in five governorates (Karbala, Dohuk, Baghdad, Wasit and Muthanna).
As the psychosocial support teams have organized visits to displaced families’ camps in those governorates so that to see the humanitarian situation and the positive ways how to cope with their living conditions, as well as to educate families regarding mental health in difficult circumstances that they live.
As these teams have also organized celebrations for children and distributed gifts to them, while the number of beneficiaries of psychosocial support services was more than (2000) beneficiaries.
