Since the beginning of security situation in the cities of Shirqat and Beji at the north of Salahulddin, and the waves of displacement that followed that events, the Iraqi Red Crescents’ teams are still working day and night in order to provide the essential needs of displaced families.
The Crescents’ teams has conducted field survey to the displaced families in (18 kilometers camp) at Anbar who are more than 1,500 families so far, it is likely to increase the number of families due to the security situation in those areas. The Red Crescents’ teams in Anbar has distributed food, relief assistance and drinking water to all families in the mentioned camp which has about (999) tent.
In the same context, the Red Crescents’ health teams has treated patients and provided psychosocial support to them, as well as provided first aid and other health services in order to avoid the families from Communicable Diseases, especially we are living in a high temperatures atmosphere that reach 50 degrees or more. Therefore, our health teams educating families to follow a few tips and medical guidelines to reduce injuries.
