The occasion of Imam Musa bin Jaafar (peace be upon him) is one of the most important religious occasions that witnesses many crowds from different governorates on foot to Baghdad in order to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Musa bin Jaafar (peace be upon him).
Proceeding from the principles of the IRCS in alleviating the suffering, reducing the risk of injuries and the spread of diseases and assigning the role of government institutions, especially in light of the current conditions of Corona epidemic spread and its risks during the visit ceremonies, the IRCS has mobilized its teams to provide various services to the visitors.

The statement indicated that the services varied between medical services through two mobile medical clinics equipped with the latest medical equipment to diagnose diseased cases, with dispensing the necessary medicines for diagnosed disease cases by a specialized medical staff, adding to deploy 20 medical detachments along the visitors’ route line, and a trained paramedic team provides the necessary emergency services, while cases that need medical interventions are transferred by 10 permanently stationed ambulances to the nearest hospital, as more than 1,000 sick cases were transferred by ambulances and the dismounted stretchers campaign.
The statement also indicated that “in light of Coronavirus spread, the IRCS’s teams are providing health awareness lectures, and continuous sterilizing campaigns for processions and visitor resting places, while other teams conduct psychological support lectures to relieve pressure, fatigue and stress on visitors.”
