The Iraqi Red Crescent Society attended the second international conference organised by the International Medical Mobilisation in the conference hall of Al-Sabtain University for Medical Sciences. The President of the Iraqi Red Crescent Society, Dr. Yassin Al-Maamouri, attended the conference.

The conference discussed the medical and emergency services supplied to millions of people. Dr. Yassin Al-Maamouri also went to the Iraqi Red Crescent Society pavilion, which was set up on the sidelines of the conference and featured a photographic exhibition of the Karbala branch’s activities during the million visits, as well as food and relief aid for the most vulnerable groups. Examples of first aid packages carried by foot detachments during the million visits, as well as stretchers and medical equipment used by paramedics to assist the injured, were displayed.
