In spite of more than one month has passed since the beginning of Mosul operations, the people are still displaced to the camps of Hasan Al-Sham and Khazir from Mosul city and some other areas.
The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has reported “the IRCS teams have received 145 displaced family at Khazir and Hasan Al-Sham camps during the last two days till now, the number of displaced families that have been sheltered in the above mentioned camps has reached 6770 family (35,600 displaced person)” .
The IRCS added that its teams have distributed more than 4000 ready food meal and 2000 food parcel at Hasan Al-Sham and Khazir camps during the last two days, adding to provide the new displaced people with stoves and relief materials include blankets, decks, jerry cans and other essential materials which the displaced families need.
The IRCS volunteers have provided first aid, health and psychosocial support services to more than 340 displaced .
On the other hand, the IRCS has said that more than 600 displaced families at Jad’aa camp that shelters 1200 family in Qayarah area have returned to their homes after the stability of situation in their areas.
The IRCS teams have also distributed relief and food assistance to the displaced families at their homes after conducting field visits in order to know their essential needs and provided them with it.
