Over the course of eight days, courses on rescue operations and first aid were conducted in the Sumerian Hotel hall by the Iraqi Red Crescent Society, Dhi Qar branch, in collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross.

Forty volunteers and workers attended these workshops, which covered first aid, mass casualty management, and rescue operations. These courses are intended to prepare a community response team, which will be in charge of handling crisis management in local areas.
