The Iraqi Red Crescent Society deploys medical detachments to service Arbaeen visitors in Muthanna.

The Iraqi Red Crescent Society has begun deploying fixed and mobile medical detachments along the Arbaeen road for Imam Hussein’s (peace be upon him) visits inside the administrative borders of the governorate.
Mr. Najm Shun, the Red Crescent communication coordinator, explained: “With the very start of the march of the visitors on foot, the Iraqi Red Crescent Society set up (6) medical detachments, and the location of the beginning was in the south in Al-Khudor district and ending in the north in Al-Rumaithah district.”
He went further: “The detachments offer many different medical and emergency services to the crowds of visitors, along with free treatments, as well as providing psychological support. The duty of the medical detachment cadres goes around the clock for (24) hours and for (10) days until the end of the visitation ceremonies.”
