The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has signed a joint Memorandum of Understanding with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to emphasize the common goals to meet the humanitarian needs of the victims of the current situation in Iraq, and to increase the effectiveness of the joint humanitarian work which carried out by the International Movement of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies so that to expand the future solidarity within the humanitarian work.
The agreement was signed between the above mentioned parties by facilitating of the Iranian Red Crescent Society. Meanwhile the parties have expressed their gratitude for the generous initiative of the Iranian Red Crescent Society that provided effective ways to sign the agreement between the parties.
