The Iraqi Red Crescent receives 150 families from the area of Jorf alsakhar whom were being detained by the armed groups as human shields.
The Iraqi Red Crescent Society/Babylon Branch, has received 150 families that were being detained as human shields by armed groups in Jorf alsakhar area.
The Assistant Secretary General in Iraqi RC Mr. Mohammed al-Khuzai said that “Iraqi RC teams in Babylon has received those families, added that the security forces were able to rescue the detained families and transfer from the Alfariseah area to the center of area”.
Added Mr. Alkhozai that “the relief teams of Iraqi RC provided the displaced families with support like (food, drink and take some of the displaced families to the hospital in order to get treatment”.
