The Red Crescent teams, Anbar branch, are providing medical and first aid services for more than 1900 Iraqi pilgrims going for “Al-Haj” through the Arar border crossing.
“The Crescents’ teams have set up detachments to provide medical and first aid services that included measuring blood pressure and diabetes, as well as equipping pilgrims with necessary medicines and medical supplies,” said Mr.Muhannad Hadi Saleh, the director of the Anbar branch.
He added that the Red Crescent has also deployed a number of ambulances in order to transport emergency and critical cases to hospitals and health centers in the province.
Mr. Salih also stated, “The Red Crescent teams continue to provide medical treatments, transfer sick cases, and present emergency services until the last Iraqi pilgrim crosses from Arar to perform Al-Haj.
