The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) organized a psychosocial support program to displaced families in different regions at Al-Diwanya governorate, as the program included 89 children and 44 women, and had a various activities and games where balloons distributed to children in order to bring them a smile, and to guide women on how to deal with kids so that they can challenge the crisis.
The program also included camps of displaced people in many different areas at the governorate, IRCS also distributed hygiene items to (323 displaced families) in the village of Hamad town, town of Daghara and residential complexes. As well as gave the displaced families in the governorate induction lectures on the principles of the International Movement, its emblem and its uses.
On the other hand, the cadre of the branch organized psychosocial support and First Aid workshops to the employees of Martyrs Foundation in the governorate, adding to gave dissemination lectures to introduce the principles of Red Crescent and its role in humanitarian relief operations.
