The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has announced the increasing in the numbers of displaced people to more than (3000) thousand person from various villages of Nineveh governorate since the beginning of the events till now .
The IRCS has said ‘’the IRCS teams have recorded the entrance of (3126) thousand person distributed between Al-Khazer camp located north of Mosul which shelters (2435) displaced people and Zulaykan camp also located at Al-Shekhan district in Duhok governorate which shelters (691) person” .
The statement has noted ‘’ the IRCS teams took all the necessary arrangements to shelter the displaced people and contain the displacement crisis, also the IRCS teams have distributed more than (3) thousand ready meal, mineral water and other relief materials by our relief teams who are working 24 hours a day in receiving the displaced families in addition to prepare the appropriate place to shelter them” .
Whereas the IRCS’s psychosocial support and health teams have distributed first aid, health services, treatments and psychosocial support lectures to more than (1600) displaced people to Al-Khazer and Zulaykan camps .
It is mentioned that, the IRCS teams is still continuous in receiving the displaced families adding to provide the relief assistance to them .
