The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) in Babylon announced that it distributed (310) food parcels to the displaced families in the north of the governorate in (Al-Musayyib) distrait.
As the IRCS’s teams distributed food parcels in accordance with the prior survey by IRCS’s relief teams in the distrait to see the conditions of the families that are living a difficult humanitarian situation and need an urgent assistance as the number of families reached (310) mostly living in schools, so IRCS’s teams provide food and water to those families.
Meanwhile, the IRCS’s teams in Karbala provide psychosocial support to displaced families that are living in mosques of Karbala. As the staff of the branch provided a psychosocial support and gave lectures to displaced families, and organized an entertainment programs and gave toys for children. It is worthy to be mentioned that IRCS’s teams continues in providing humanitarian and relief assistance to the displaced families as well as psychosocial support that contribute to solve the psychosocial problems of displaced families and children.
