The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) / Salahuddin branch distributed (2000) hot meal daily to displaced people in Hoaiesh camp (which is 125 km North of Baghdad) at Samarra.
The staff of the branch distributes food assistance to (2500) displaced families. Also it is worthy to be mentioned that the number of displaced families has increased in Samarra, in which (11) a new family have been received and been harbored in the above mentioned camp, meanwhile IRCS teams who deployed in the camp distributed them food and relief assistance.
Iraqi Red Crescent Society Is an independent national humanitarian, society whose works to reduce the suffering of people without discrimination, in the time of peace and war, and during the natural and non- natural disasters. IRCS is one of the most effective societies within the International movement of the Red Crescent and Red Cross.
