With deep sorrow and grief, the Iraqi Red Crescent Society condoles the families of the victims of painful tragedy that led to death dozens of Iraqis in the holy month of Ramadan, which caused the sorrow and pain in the hearts of mothers, wives, parents, children, brothers and sisters who have lost their beloved ones in the bombing of Karrada area.
The Iraqi Red Crescent Society has response rapidly to this event through search and rescue operations, adding to evacuate and transfer of the bodies of the martyrs, as well as providing first aid and psychosocial support to the injured and the families of the victims.
The contribution of the Society in transferring the corpses from many hospitals to the Department of Forensic Medicine that done by Red Crescents’ volunteer via specialized cars had a significant impact on the hearts of the people.
