The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has announced that it implemented psychosocial support programs in the camps and hospitals included displaced children in Baghdad and the governorates of Muthanna, Sulaymaniyah , Kirkuk and Dohuk in which the number of beneficiaries reached (761) child.
This program aims to build up the psychosocial support for the children, whether displaced or patients in hospitals. The IRCS has formed psychosocial support teams to visit the displaced families and to implement activities in this field at many camps).
The subject matter events had sessions of psychosocial discharge for displaced children and holding many festival of drawing and entertainment games in which the number of beneficiaries reached (391) displaced child.
IRCS teams also provided assistance and psychosocial for the patients children in some hospitals, specially the children who had cancer, blood diseases, diabetes and respiratory system in order to alleviate their suffering in which number of beneficiaries reached (170) child.
