The Iraqi Red Crescent (IRCS) and its Iranian counterpart signed a memorandum for establishing a framework for joint cooperation and bilateral coordination in the fields of education, relief exchange, rehabilitation, health expertise, and treatment.
According to the memorandum, the IRCS assists its Iranian counterpart in providing medical assistance during religious and emergency situations and in obtaining necessary licenses and customs clearance for the importation of medicines and medical supplies, this memorandum is valid for ten years.
According to the memorandum, the Iranian Red Crescent committed to “train human teams at various administrative levels in the field of crisis management, camp establishment, water and sanitation, and logistics services, adding to establishing and managing the workshops for the manufacture of prosthetic limbs and volunteer training in these centers.”
