Within three months, the Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has provided free medical services, medicines and treatment consultations for the needy families through the mobile medical clinic in most areas of Dhi Qar governorate.
Amer Hamid, the director of Dhi Qar branch, said, “The IRCS teams have provided medical services and treatments for more than 9,000 people from needy families during the months of February, March and April.
Mr. Amer has clarified that the IRCS , in coordination with the Dhi Qar Health directorate has prepared a mobile clinic that includes an experienced medical staff and equipped with necessary medicines and treatments.
Hamid has indicated that the medical clinic has been roaming for eight months in different areas of the governorate, targeting the remote areas, neighborhoods and villages that suffer from a lack of health services.
