The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) in Basrah has started to form an urgent operations room in order to face the possible rain torrents depending on the meteorological reports that indicate the occurrence of floods and torrents in the border areas during the coming days .
An additional urgent teams have been formed from the IRCS’s volunteers For the purpose of urgent intervention for any emergency, adding to the IRCS’s health, first responder teams that have been equipped with strategic storage of tents and relief and food items.
It is worth to be mentioned  that the Red Crescent teams have distributed posters and warning folders about the dangers of floods that have distributed to the people , which their areas are always exposed to the crews of rain torrents and floods.
