The Iraqi Red Crescent Society(IRCS) has organized a ceremony to honor the outstanding volunteers in the Headquarter of the IRCS, on the occasion of the international volunteer day and to appreciate their humanitarian role .
The president of the Iraqi Red Crescent Society Dr.Yaseen Al-Mamouri said” In the last three years, Iraq has witnessed difficult circumstances which left a great humanitarian suffering, and as testified by everyone, the IRCS has managed in all parts of Iraq to respond effectively despite of the limited possibilities, but these possibilities have been translated to a distinguished reality relief ” .
Dr.Yaseen added” The volunteers had a prominent role through the stages of preparedness for months, and prepare the means of success to insure the preparedness plan, also to respond distinctively at Jada, Zulaykan and khazir camps in addition to the liberated areas ” .
Dr.Yassen has also noted that the volunteers represent the spirit and purity of the Red Cross and Red Crescent, and the history of Red Crescent witnesses that it didn`t change also it override all the obstacles as a result of the originality of establishment ”.
In conclusion, the IRCS has honored the volunteers also distributed presents and certificates of appreciation to them .
