The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has announced its receiving for more than (26) thousand displaced person from different areas and villages of Nineveh governorate, they have been sheltered at Al-khazer, Hasan Al-Sham, Zulaykan and jada’a camps since the beginning of the events on the seventeenth of October until now .
The IRCS has said ‘’ The IRCS teams have recorded the entrance of (26) thousand displaced people have distributed between the camps of Al-Khazer and Hasan Al-Sham located north of Mosul and Zulaykan camp which located at Al-Shekhan district in Dohuk governorate, adding to Jada’a camp at Al-Qayarah town .
The statement has noted ‘’ The IRCS teams who are distributed in the camps have mobilized its relief efforts to shelter the displaced people also contain the displacement crisis .
The IRCS teams have distributed more than (26) thousand ready meal by the kitchens which the IRCS had installed at the areas of displacement, adding to provide water to the displaced families also distributing relief assistance to them .
In the same context, the IRCS health teams have provided health services, first aid, treatments and transporting some cases to the hospitals, in addition to organize psychosocial support lectures to the displaced families and to different age categories in the camps of displacement .
Where the IRCS teams are still continuous to receive the displaced families till now in the displacement areas, also the IRCS expects to increase in the numbers of displaced families in the next coming days .
